my first computer build,should this work?

    hi everyone.building my first computer this weekend.
    hoping the parts i have chose will work together.
    wil be using the pc for media.can ye let me know what ye think.

    processor:intel core i3-540
    motherboard:asus p7h55-m pro socket 1156.
    ram:corsair domanator dhx ddr3 1600 mhz 4gb 2x2.
    sony dvd rw 24 x ram sata
    wd cavair se16 500 gb sata2 hardrive
    windows 7 premium 64bit
    cooler master gladiator midi tower 2 fans m atx
    axp powersupply atx 630w sata 20+4pin

    as i say,my first build.never done this before.think i have my form factors right and my satas.thanks for any advice in advance.

    Should work okay together. PSU is a bit naff but it shouldn't cause any issues with the build.

    hi,thanks for the advice.just noticed the hardrive i picked is sata2.will that plug into the asus board?everything else is just sata.does this make a differance?

    Its all SATA 2 nowadays, and the two standards are intercompatible anyway ;)
