Would it be a Volkswagen of sorts? I'm thinking Golf convertable...
I know VW had both engine layouts in various cars, not sure if any specific one model had both though.

For sure. There was a mint one on Carzone up to a few weeks ago. One I had the pleasure of driving! Pity I didn't have the cash to buy it.

Edit: - that's the one!! It's back up I see.

Trust me, you'll travel far and wide to find one as good as the one EPM posted. I hate modified NSX's, unless it's Mugen that did the modifying.

most of them are stock its just a website that imports them from japan directly for you. The one epm posted is a sweet one was just showing more ones you can import yourself.

I know the Renault 21 had both longitudinal and transverse engine options, but i've never seen a convertible one. Or is that what you meant by a canvas roof?

Don't ever remember seeing the 21 with any type of canvas roof, be it conv or vinyl covering. Sounds French though from the description - 2cv?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73,499 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

no and no. more recent than the 2cv or R21.

    not French either.
