Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dublin area commute time- car or bus

Does anyone have sources for information regarding average commuter times for people living and working in Co. Dublin?

CSO had a lot of good detailed info in 2006 census, but that's a bit dated now.

I've heard and read (and didn't note sources at the time) that the average commute is 54 minutes.
Can anyone corroborate this with either official sources or personal experience?

    Thanks in advance.

It depends. If you're on a bus route with a Quality Bus Corridor, the bus can be much quicker than a car.

I'd say 2006 census is close enough to the mark, might be a little shorter now, as much because of unemployment as reduction in congestion.

Census is the big survey of this sort of stuff as far as I know. There are few or no smaller surveys.

There are, AFAIK, annual QBC surveys.

There are those, but they won't tell you anything much about average commute time.
