Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

Was getting on the bus (dublin bus) the other day using a smartcard rambler ticket thing, i always use the student one of these, there was an adult, visibly 35-40 in front of me using a childs rambler ticket, scanned on and got on no bother.....

Was just wondering if it shows up on the drivers ticket screen or what? I wouldnt try it but is there a way of the driver knowing its a childs ticket? Apart from an inspector being on the bus of course....

    Cheers,

The old ticket readers (may they rot in hell, good riddance, etc) used to beep in a higher pitch for the child tickets.
I guess there's no reason the new ones couldn't or shouldn't do this also, but I'm sure someone in the know will pop along with the reason, and I bet it's a frustrating tale of idiocy :)

I have seen this trend incease lately too,but I also caught out a few.

I mean if you look 50 and "child" comes up on the display then I'm calling you back and wanting to see the ticket, and if you are stupid enough to hand it over, well then you deserve to be trown off ! :D (without the ticket)
