    Hi all, wondered if anyone could recommend a good website or shop (west of the country) for a good quality camcorder ?

    Amazon is actually quite good and will deliver for free as well, probably 2-3 days from order if they have it in stock.

    Was looking at them myself and in particular a Samsung R10 at around 280 sterling. It's HD and does all sorts of fancy stuff including time lapse and high-speed filming. It uses SD cards so you can change them for more space and records at true 1080p quality (1920x1080 resolution)

    The only thing to watch with HD video is you need a pretty powerful PC to handle the editing of the video.
