All Criminals play Snooker

I went to see Perrier's Bounty last night (which is decent enough), and like other Dublin films, it gives Dublin snooker clubs a decent image. If nailing people to the table in the 'General' wasn't enough, in last night's film they sell drugs and have shoot ups in Snooker clubs.

What did we do to deserve this? Do all criminals play snooker or does Brendan Gleeson just demand that there are a few tables knocking about in his films for a few frames between shooting!

It’s the stereotype of the smokey/dingey snooker halls from the 80's! Snooker halls are for the fancy "entertainment" complex nowadays! The snooker scene in Cork at the moment needs a serious overhaul..
