I have decided to start a group on facebook to try and gather together apprentices in limbo between phase 6 and 7 whom have all the know how as qualified sparks and are opposed to the unnecessary formality of phase 7. I Just wanted to post a Link to it here, Thanks

I think traditionally phase 7 was sort of there to get ya back in with an employer before you qualify in the hope you might be kept on etc. But in the current climate i think if lads make the effort and cant find an employer for 3 months , that they should either scrap phase 7 or put in the provision for a exam instead to test your knowlege from the last 4 or 5 years of apprenticship.
Its not just electricians in limbo , i know plenty of plumbers who will be in the same boat . Some dont care but a few of us will want the qualification to go back to college with.
