Humbert Challenge 90km Bike section

    Hi all,

    Just said I would post this as may be of interest to the bike guys on here.
    We’re staging a half iron distance triathlon this July and the cycle route might interest some people on here. The elevation profile of the route is below.

    The big spike you see is known as the 'Windy Gap' and would be classified as a Grade A climb. That particular climb is a mile long and the rest of the 90km route would be considered ‘rolling’. For those not familiar with the area the scenery is pretty spectacular.
    Anybody on here that would like to do the bike route only you can post up on our forum at http://www.swinfordtrisports.com/humbert_forum.html and hook up with a swimmer and runner to make up a relay team. Registration is through www.swinfordtrisports.com .We’re open for entries tomorrow (01.04.2010) at 8am.
