Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody watched a match in 3d yet? What's the verdict? I'm not really a fan of the 3d movies in the cinema but, I might chance it in town tonight for the Arsenal game.

Ive seen 2 movies in 3d now, Avatar and Alice in wonderland,

the best thing for me about Alice in wonderland was an advert at the start for sky 3d,

I have to say that sports, especially football and rugby looked great in it.

I'd like to see cinemas showing 3d matches when sky sports 3d is fully up and running.

Nothing of course beats being there, but it is a nice upgrde all the same.

Actually, I don't think the "Carlsberg 3D Lounge" is open until Saturday so, it's not an option tonight!

I've seen about 3 or 4 movies in 3d now and wasn't really impressed by any of them!

If your weren't impressed by movies tailored to 3d, I don't think you will be by live sport.

    Maybe give it a miss.

Haha, dunno if I'd call a Villa cup game against lower league opposition "The ultimate in 3D match watching technology!" but, there's nothing better than seeing a match live!

Haven't sampled 3d football yet myself but apparentely Bertie Ahern loved it- when has his judgement been that far off the mark?

I'm going in there for United/Chelsea this weekend, tables had to be booked afaik, a friend of a friend booked a table for us anyway.

Of course, I'm seeing a real 3D match on Friday night in Tolka Park first.

Wherever you go, make sure it doesn't have to be pre-booked or anything and get there early! The biggest capacity I've heard so far is 100!

Fagan's in Drumcondra, that's where Bertie watched the last one, he's from the area

I can confirm that that is indeed Fagan's pub in Drumcondra in that pic
