Mountain's this weekend.

Hi all planned to head biking this weekend. Ballinastoe portumna national park or Ballhoura. Anybody on them this week and how are they holding up, last couple of days not been kind at all lets know. Cheers

Up in Djouce last weekend, trails wet on car park side but fairly dry over on powerscourt side, all the single tracks are very beaten up now, even the walkers track to the top car park is almost un useable from weather this winter. Heading to Ballyhoura on Saturday

I was up in balinastoe last weekend and was grand, a little cut up from the heavy snow in jan but as far as this weekend you should probably look elsewhere.....

Thanks for replies checked another couple o sites all seems doomed for the weekend. Just as the tracks were starting to dry up this happens. Ill plan a spin for June leaving cert week always good weather when that's on......

Guys, did blue loop in Ballyhoura last Saturday, weather great no rain, track wet and beat up, but we had an amazing day (last time we did red loop in August 09 but the extra 10k is not worth it)

Jez ...How often do you get out on the bike twice /three times a year ????
