Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone use "organic" body wash and deodorants?

I've heard that alot of this stuff gets absorbed into the bloodstream - currently I'm just using the likes of lynx products. I imagine there is alot of chemicals in here to create the fragrances, make the deoderant last etc.

I am considering switching over to more natural products - it's my understanding though that you cannot trust the word organic being printed on products alone and some organic products of course are bad for you in themselves.

Has anyone got anymore info or perhaps done more research on the subject to give me a good start. I also don't want to have to spend too much money.

In my experience the most effective natural deodorant's are natural salt crystals. Have a look in your local health food shop.
Try to avoid the aluminum based ones.

If you want to use some organic shower gel, read the ingredients and check for organic association approval stamps.
Or use a vegetable based soap instead.

Lush for the shower gel and PIT ROK for the deoderant

Cheers guys/girls - didn't even think of the health store and those brands should be nice to get off to a start with ravima.

I used to use LUSH products until I found out they were filled with synthetic perfumes etc - plus they are quite dear, even though the packaging is eco-friendly and all that!

    Read this http://wwwpurealternatives.blogspot.com/2007/02/lush-products-not-as-delicious-as-they.html

I use very simple basic health food products - soap is Chandrika that I've used my whole life since i was a kid, and deodorant is Rosewater in a spray bottle! For a more "manly" deodorant that is also as organic/natural as it gets, look into Lavera Men's Deodorant! ;)
In general, a health store is a good place to start!:)
