Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,
A neighbour was given an old laptop by his brother, who doesn't know any of the passwords.
I know, I know. But honestly it is legit.
Anyway, I just wanted to know if there are any problems with puttting a CD image on a DVD.
For the first tool I downloaded, the image wouldn't boot at all, but at 3mb, I thought it might be a bit small to boot.
Another live CD (writtend to dvd)did boot though.
I suspect the image wasn't right, but just wanted to double check that I don't need to go out and buy some blank CD-rs

It's an old Latitude C610 by the way.

There shouldn't be any problem writing a CD size ISO to a DVD-R

Guess they're not really that expensive anyway these days. If you're looking for a temporary fix, you can write it to a usb stick so you can reuse it later.
