This is whats been going on all season, Carra makes last ditch attempt to block a shot/cross etc that should have been made before by the player marking, he is unsuccessful and gives away a free/peno or doesnt stop the goal and it's al "Carra is too old and slow" . This has been an utterly disgraceful refereeing performance. Luiz should have been sent off a long time ago. They have been allowed to kick us off the pitch. It's horrendous really.

Ridiculous refereeing throughout the game

- Luiz, Insua all yellowed softly.
- Luisao yellowed for a vicious kick from behind
- Javi Garcia gets NOTHING for nearly decapitating Babel.

Babel was a complete ****wit for what he did, but just goes to show the incompetence of refs in football. N'Zonzi got a yellow for viciously pushing Lucas to the ground by his face against Blackburn.

Fans are also crazy, even the Benfica players are telling them to calm.

Very infuriating game, ref(s) are atrocious.

Please shut up defending the ref, yes he got the big decisions right but he has missed a hell of a lot apart from them. Reffing is about consistency & he has been consistently inconsistent.

Taking the bait Babel would not have been sent off if the ref had of got the 1st decision right and showed a red and not a yellow for the shocking tackle on Torres. Therefore Liverpool would have had 11 players and Benfica 10 you can't say that would have changed the game
