    Hi all,

My name is Nigel Vahey. I am conducting experimental research at the National Univeristy of Ireland Maynooth examining how nicotine affects subtle biases in our decision making processes concerning quitting smoking.

I need approx 10-15 smokers to finish off the current research project (the amount you smoke will be verified using a breathylzer specialised for detecting bi-products of smoking).

If you come along to the NUI Maynooth to take part you will make between €6.25 and €37.50 depending on which experimental condition you are assigned to (e.g. the most challenging thing you would be requested to do for €37.50 is abstain from cigarettes from 12 midnight until the following afternoon). FYI Maynooth is about 30 minutes from Dublin city centre on the Sligo train line.

If you are interested in taking part, there is a word document attached with more info, and I would like to invite you to answer a brief 7-item online questionnaire to see whether you are eligible to take part in the smoking research:
Looking forward to hearing from you,

    Nigel
