Unfortunately it didn't stop one of the Sunday rags going with a page spread on the drink fuelled violence of Friday night, despite the fact there was none.

Which paper printed that bit of fiction?

Don't know, one of the generic red tops I picked up in the pub on Sunday.

It was on page 3 and had headline something like "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"
complete with outrageous pictures of some fella being spoken to by Gardai.

I expect the journalist to get a pulitzer for putting themselves in such a dangerous position
