Riello RD3 Fuel Pump Problem

    Hey,

I have a Riello RD3 burner that I think the fuel pump is gone on. I'm just looking for some confirmation if possible.

I had to bleed the pump some time ago and when I did, the oil would spit out at pressure when I opened the hex vlave.

This time, when I open the hex valve, the oil does flow out but it's not coming out under pressure, almost like just standard gravity pressure.

It sounds to me that because there's no pressure behind the oil coming out of the bleed valve that the pump isn't pumping, but I'm not an expert and that's why I'm asking this question!!

If anyone has any idea, i'd appreciate a reply!

    Thanks,

    Neil
