Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Barca lineup:
Valdés, Chigrinskiy, Piqué, Puyol, Abidal, Jeffren, Maxwell, Ibrahimovic, Messi, Busquets, Touré

    Bilbao lineup:
Gorka; Iraola, San José, Amorebieta, Koikili; Gurpegui, David López, Javi Martínez, Gabilondo; Susaeta, Llorente

    That an odd lineup.

I want to see Barcelona play without Messi. Last few minutes against Arsenal and they had nothing in attack. Bilbao to cause an upset! Come on Llorente!

Slightly strange line up for Barca,

Valdes, Maxwell, Pique, Abidal, Puyol, Ukrainian, Toure, Busquets, Jeffren, Zlatan, Messi.

Chigrinskiy is midfield according to the sky sports score centre.

Considering the entire first XI out there tonight costs less than 50 million I'll survive. How's Hargreaves going by the way? Prob payed him a million euro an appearance at this stage. Keep up the bitterness though mate.

Wouldn't mind knocking a few more past these so that we might stay first on goal difference for the Clasico.

Spanish tv initial reports that Ibra will be out for about a week although they are awaiting confirmation. Could miss Arsenal and be a doubt for El Clasico.

How is Zlatan a flop? The 20 goals or a few bad games in his first season in a new league?

Hasn't he just got all of Barca's crucial away goals in the CL knock outs?

Not to mention his fantastic winner in this season's clásico.

    Better than Berbatov anyway.

Yes I'm a Madridista. Just don't understand the labelling of Zlatan in anyway a flop.

Chigrinsky is relatively young and hasn't played that many games so I think it will take him time to adjust in this league as its a big step up from where he was playing.

Hahah, he really hasn't been though. It's just they can't afford to let him properly settle because Higuain has been untouchable, and they need to win every game with how clinical Barca have been. Even if Madrid fell away from today (which they won't), they've been immense to stay in the title race for so long, considering how they've had to build an entirely new first team (for the most part) and allow them settle.

On the game, delighted to beat Bilbao by 3 goals. Bilbao are a side I really respect. The fact that Abidal is back is massive too, he was one of the best LBs in europe before his injury, his all around beastliness will be great for the rest of the season. I'll be much more confident with Eric against Theo, he has the pace to deal with Walcott's attacking threat.

Also, let's hope Ibra is fit for Tuesday, a front line of Bojan---Zlats---Messi would be tasty enough. And let's also hope Real get battered tomorrow so that even a Barca loss in El Clasico will mean we can still win the title. ;):D

He started the season in place of Higuaín and was out of sorts and complaining about having to lead the line.

He's got talent and will surely succeed elsewhere (he'd be a good Atlético player I reckon) but when I say flop I mean in a more general sense, as in wtf was Pérez thinking by wasting so much money on him when they already had Higuaín.

I've always thought he was overrated anyway.

Happy to see Valencia playing an almost full strenght team today.

I wouldn't mind Forlan or Aguero getting a rest later tonight.
