Ross Pearson vs. Dennis Siver UFC Fight Night 21 Pearson is wearing Under Armour padded compression shorts made for snow boarding and ice hockey.... are these actually allowed in UFC? and if so, why is everyone in MMA not wearing them? :)

The rules just say commission approved shorts or kickboxing trunks.Nothing about undershorts.....now to go shopping

Im pretty sure the rules state all additional equipment i.e. knee supports, undershorts, ankle supports have to be approved by the commissioner before the fight.
