I dreamt that I was with my dad watching a TV soap opera. In the programme there were 2 people trapped somewhere. Each thought that the other was holding them hostage, although neither was. Then a scary man came, dragging a dog along. He was going to hang the dog up and whip it. He had obviously whipped it terribly in the past because now the flesh on it's face was hanging off it's facial bones. I was so scared and sickened, I wanted to help the dog but I hid and did not dare to intervene because the man was so scary. By this point my dad wasn't there any more, I was alone. What do you think it means?
