    Just heard that Spillane's Maxol filling station's ATM was robbed last night! Is it true? Can anyone confirm this?

    Gardaí in Cork are investigating the use of a JCB in an attempted ATM robbery in Carrigaline.

    A gang of raiders tried to take the cash machine from the Maxol station in Shannonpark at 4am this morning.

    Gardaí are appealing for anyone who used the main Cork to Carrigaline Road between 3-4am to contact them at Togher garda station on 021 4947120

    Did they get more than when they broke into one on the Model Farm Road..... That one was out of order for ages before hand.....

    They got nothing, and not because the ATM was out of order... but because they used a crappy Massey Ferguson digger instead of a JCB like they should have :P

    Oh they didn't actually get anything?
    From what I heard on the radio it seemed like they'd gotten away with a sum of money...

    According to Saturday night's Echo they failed, maybe due to being spotted or disturbed... that road can be busy no matter what time of night!
