    Hi Ash/John,

Is the 40PFL8664H still being sold at €1169.99 with a 4 year warranty or was that a special offer around Christmas? I've convinced my wife we "need" one but it would need to have a long warranty, if its only 2 years I may hold off until the offer comes around again.

If I ordered one on Monday when would it be in the Philips Shop in Dublin?

Just noticed elsewhere on the forum that the 40PFL8605H is due in May/June and seems to be a much higher spec model. Maybe I should wait the extra couple of months?

    Regards

    Hi Quenching

Yes the 40PFL8664H is €1169 after the discount has been applied.

I could have this TV for you in the next couple of days.

The TV's now come with a 2 year warranty as standard but it can be extended out to a max of 5 years for an additional 10% of the purchase price, in this case €169.99.

The 40PFL8605H is due for release June/July (date not confirmed as yet) and will retail for €1499.99 - you can use the 10% Philips Shop Boards Discount and it will be yours for €1349.99.

Once again this TV will have a 2 year warranty but the same extended warranty policy will apply if you wish to extend it.

Once we have spec's and a more refined release date for the new TV we will post up on Boards.

    cheers
    Ash

Thansk Ash, useful info to have, I may hold off for the newer model in June/July and "surprise" my wife as you suggested earlier!

    Regards
