Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not Johnsons fault, where was Dirk... he's been awful today... most of the team have tbf... I never thought i'd say it but we need babel time!

Nando will do something extraordinary before this game is out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,137 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Kuyt is a donkey. Johnson's defending is similar to a donkey's.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,267 ✭✭✭opr

In fairness, alot of them did work very hard in Europe midweek. Really need to make some subs to inject some life into the team.

Well I never would have guessed in a million years that the extraordinary thing would be getting hauled off.

Did torres really just get substituted? Oh dear...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭Podge2k7

    Ok, wtf is Rafa doing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,519 ✭✭✭✭noodler

He has his priorities all wrong if he thinks Thirsday is more important.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,267 ✭✭✭opr

Seeing how tired some of them look I think it shows how ridiculous it is to put any emphasis on the Europa cup. Our priority should be 4th and nothing else this season.

    Edit - Torres really

If that is tactical, and pool lose, Rafa may have lost me. :(

If we lose this match Rafa has a lot to answer for. I'm flabbergasted with the decision.

N'Gog almost justified the substitution there.

I'm not actually watching the match but is Torres not shattered after Thursdays game? I wouldn't have started him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,316 ✭✭✭ButcherOfNog

Torres was playing awful, not at the races at all, not surprised he's been taken off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,827 ✭✭✭fred funk }{

    How Bowyer miss that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,629 ✭✭✭magma69

That's a cardinal sin by Rafa. Torres looked shocked to be taken off so he couldn't be injured or wanted to come off. We can't play two strikers now should we still be drawing with ten minutes to go.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

We needed another striker on with Torres ffs.....

In rafa we trust ye? He does know we have to win this game ye? Europa league doesn't matter

  • Registered Users Posts: 479 ✭✭SWAR

Torres looked absolutely shocked and came off shaking his head...it also just showed Gerrard's reaction who looked even more shocked than Torres. WTF Rafa?

Ngog just missed a good chance and Bowyer has just missed an absolute sitter...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

if it's to rest people, take f*cking Kuyt off.

a fresh N'Gog could then come on and share the offensive workload.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,311 ✭✭✭✭K-9

    He has officially lost it.

We need Babel on and quick.

Doesn't matter...it's still Torres. Watch the Villa game for reference. Did nothing all game and scored the winner

Torres would have put it in !!!!!!!!!!!
