Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Check the power steering fluid level, if this is applicable to your car. Is it between the max/min lines?

Is it literally impossible to turn or when moving is it easier to turn ? I think there is a serpantine belt on them rather than a seperate power steering belt. If the fluid is ok (if 'twas low the pump would give a groan but still work I imagine unless there is a shut off system on it which wouldn;t be the case with steering). Take off the engine cover if need be and with the car idling see is the pump being rotated off the belt, see is the fluid in the power steerinp reservoir circulating. If the alternator light isn't on I doubt it's the belt to be honest. The pump may be fecked.

    Doing circles eh, probably coincidence.

    doin a few circles

As in circling roundabouts or doing doughnuts? Could've overpressurised the PS system and blew a line. Anything leaking from under the car?

Lesson: If you want to chuck a 3 series around like a sportscar, buy an M3 ;)
