Drama groups in cork city!

    Hi,

    Im just wondering if anybody could help me by giving me a list of some drama groups in cork city? I have only done a small bit of acting before and Im looking to try it out again!

    There's a lot of local groups in most areas of Cork. Perhaps Macra is the way to go? I'm not sure but its something I'd love to try too....

    yeah i think that there are a few, but i think in Cork alot of teh drama groups tend to be rural e.g around Banteer and fermoy etc....Macra is def a good way to go. Most clubs start practising in September/October with performances in Jan/Feb/ March. The nice thing about doing drama with Macra is that it's just a one act play, that takes around 40 minuts, so you don't have to commit yourself to a massive production! Leeside Macra will most likely be getting something together in Sept/October (i've a few scripts in mind...!).
