Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anybody doing any of these?

Anybody do this last year or even in previous years?

How long are you looking at for the 100KM route? It seems to skip all the hard stuff (eg sally gap) but wondered how hilly the route was :)

To be fair to him/her a general search for "wicklow 200" turns up nothing for a few pages - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/search.php?searchid=11440100&pp=25

They are actually, but asking a Q on a bank-holiday-monday means that any cyclist worthy of the name is, well, out on the bike. :) If anything, some thing that the W200 is a little over discussed around here, so a little understanding please for those who just can't be arsed going over well trodden ground yet again.

Yes there is. Your questions are fully dealt with there. If you have any new ones, feel free to ask away.

It's far enough away that you should probably be aiming for the 200. What's the point in going to Wicklow to avoid the climbs?

Also, in fairness to Sizzler, that thread has gone way off topic.

    You must not be worthy.

no matter where you go in Wicklow you will be climbing at some point. That said the 100 is more draggy roads compared to the climbing on the 200 route. Hope this helps OP. But like has been said it has been covered a lot and you have been provided with some useful links on this thread

Thanks :) As someone said earlier in the thread this wasnt popping up in the search function, should have went through the forum a bit more :o

I'll happily avoid the 200km considering I havent been on a bike for a few years ;) 200Km is the target next year.

Judging by the pics on the site theres plenty of seasoned cyclists who werent able for some of the hills :p

Well the 100 is certainly doable for you. The worst of the 'climbing' is very early on the route from Kilmacanogue to Calary (which is the back of the Sugarloaf). The rest is undulating, but the bit from Avoca back towards Rathdrum is a bit of a drag. All in all compared the 200 it is relatively flat

Just signed up for the WW200 myself, are there any indications of numbers for it this year?
