    1) Is anyone doing this? The route is a nice but is pretty much the same as the Tour de Burren.

    2) If someone is going can I bum a lift from Dublin or the South East?

    The route actually covers a significant portion of the Etape Hibernia, so will be a good trial run of the terrain for anyone intending to do the event.

    It is going anti-clockwise where TOB goes clockwise and its actually most of Etape Hibernia except it leaves the coast road early

    Great day out. Sizable turnout with maybe 100 cyclists. Well organised with a fine food stop in Lisdoonvarna.
    The weather was stunning with the run down into Ballyvaughan and the run along the coast particular highlights. 'The hand' was a tester given that it was in the final 30km and the wind was against us.
    Thanks to the organisers, it made for a brilliant first tour for me
