KH is that home made burger? It looks bloody perfect for my tastes. Nothing fussy...if not home made then where? Please say it can be bought somewhere.

Hey Keps , cant see your pics in work :o:confused: firewalled, just wondering where your hosting your stuff?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,324 ✭✭✭keps

I host them at a place called TINYPICS- cos that's the only one I've ever used.

If there is a preferable/better one please let me know and I will leggit there:)

Ah I see , no worries . Each to their own hosting preference I guess just wanted to know given the site was firewalled which I thought was strange ... must be something in its site decription of something?.
I find Pix.ie is reliable, free and friendly myself...and not firewalled by work :D

    Pix.ie
Do you have to register with them or can you host without registering (for some reason -I hate registering)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,840 ✭✭✭Trev M

Yep its a registering thing Im afraid .. to be fair though I can honsetly say Ive never receieved a mail from them other than notifications I set up myself. Also the guys that run it actually visit this board regularly to my knowledge.

You have to register, but it's definitely worth it!
Once you register you get 500mb a month to use how you wish( i.e storing full size images or just for sharing resized images) and it won't compress your images unlike the likes of tiny pic and others..

I'm a flikr fan myself (i must go pro some of these days reached my 200 photos yesterday) i do a a PIX.ie account but i dont like the fact that you have to wait for a while before you can view your photos online , whereas flikr, or even picaso as instantly viewable, and more importantly linkable/imbedable... just my 2 cents worth, sorry for being a bit OT here is a pic to make up for it.....

taken with a P&S last year....
