Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well, it's just a box with a wee pinhole, so it needs a 40 second exposure to let enough light into it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,401 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

f/133!! (I assume this relates to film cameras?)
and a newbie question- what did a 40 second bring to the table for this pic that a normal exposure wouldn't?

lots of depth of field (the f/133 not the 40 seconds)

Ghost Train, that's a beautiful shot. IMHO, it think it would benefit from increasing the "black" level in Lightroom or PS. Just my opinion.

Wow, what sort of macro lens did you use for that??! Did you have to use an extension tube or reverse lens?

Very nice, I'm loving the athmosperic type of effect you're getting off these. Keep'em coming. :)

Thanks, they're all straight off the iPhone ShakeItPhoto app with no PP. I love the feel of them (even if it upsets the Polaroid purists who are paying 3 quid a shot for their pleasure! ;))

I thought they were scans when I didn't see any EXIF :) They certainly look like the real thing. :)
