Romford.....what can I say? A shi!thole of a town but what an AMAZING skatepark from way back in the 70's. Over vert swimming pool bowls, snake runs, hips, crazy vert ramps and rough surfaces....not a place to crash!
The sun was shining, the vibe in Rom is SOOOO chilled, everyone is so incredibly nice and relaxed. It's just an amazing place.

I haven't been there in 10 years and didn't have the skills to ride it back then. 10 years on, I still don't have the skills to ride that place. I get its charm and appeal.....I just don't see where all the lines are. The place humbles me. It's fantastic, the locals are great. The vibe is just awesome there, riding/skating or not...simply awesome.

40 year old guys still shredding over vert....eat your heart out!

Thanks Keith. The light was just so good today. I miss sunshine. It looks like I used flash on these but it was just pure sunshine. they're the first skate photos I've ever shot and the guys were stoked on them as much as I was.

the pics don't do justice to how deep/steep that bowl is. It's maybe 10+ feet tall and goes over vertical so your verging on upside down when you carve it.

Love your 15mm fisheye shot you posted today of the show jumping...cracking as always!

Absolutely, it really is a huge loss for them. She rang home today a few times and people there are really upset, crying and so on. Whether they agreed with the politicians or not they are genuinely saddened by the tragedy. They can put personal politics aside and realize that it's a major loss for the country.
