Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think it is, but you will need a Crossover Ethernet cable.
You connect that to your laptop, then slect to *bridge* it. Then, connect your laptop to the internet and your dekstop should have access as well.

I don't know about vista or 7, but this is the gist of how I got it working in XP.

In XP it would be an option under network connections, or something along those lines.

A crossover Ethernet cable is used to connect two computers. Instead of connecting it to a router or modem.

I think you need a crossover, although I'm not entirely sure.

Its quite easy post XP as there is a wizard that helps you along the way. I know somebody who isnt at all tech savy but managed to bridge her Xbox to get it online.

Dont connect the cables until you enable Internet connection sharing or else your desktop will pick up a 169.254.x.x address
