Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He was clean through with an easy pass to rooney for a certain goal....and lashed it.

That is not the actions of a composed man. And where was he when Olic was breaking through? He has done well against Ribery but he looks mad nervous man.

Sorry Kirby, but right backs arnt renowned for their finishing.;)

Also, being a right back, he was probably at the right back position when the goal went in. EDIT: He was with Ribery.

He is having an absolute stormer so far.

    huh?

lashed it? he was trying to put it into the bottom right corner after making the tackle, the run and getting into the position himself.

for a RB it wasn't a bad efford.

he's had rib's in his pocket all night, rattled my backside.

I doubt they care at this stage considering they are on the otherside of the draw.

Well, I'm sure they are keeping tabs on potential finalists, lets face it Barca will be there.

I feel dirty for saying this but I kinda wouldn't mind Utd getting there, just so they can be schooled once more :)

As Impartial as the "impartial" posters on this thread . . ;)

Giles : "Great goals by Nani, but I hate the Michael Jackson wannabe"

Haughton: "United are a one man team and desperate"

Dunphy: "United shouldnt even be in the premier league , let alone champions league" . .

This aint over yet, another goal for us and I think that ought to kill it off.

We're playing well. Decent tempo and plenty of running in the midfield.

And lol @ criticising Rafael. He's having a great game and has kept Ribery very quiet. Again, Rafael has brought a great energy to us.

We need to keep the tempo up and we should kill the game off. Rooney goal then take him off please!

Switched over to ITV thanks to RTEs usual not getting the basics right....and the usual negativity of that panel

I thought it was gonna be Roma all over again, the last 5 mins have convinced me otherwise.

They should let Eamo and Giles have a few before coming on air. I would so watch that.

I wouldn't disagree with anything they said tonight. Nani took his goals well, but what Giles means is about his general play. And that is fair enough, he still makes poor decisions passing the ball. Delighted to see him score though.
    Liam O wrote: »

In fairness to Giles, he has been in 4 European finals of one shape or another. Cup Winners Cup and Fairs Cup were decent at the time her got there. And Leeds losing the European Cup Final to Bayern is one of the biggest robberies in the competitions history. Look up Leeds history from that period, they got a raw deal in Europe.
