Nearly feel sorry for utd, their second two goals were very well taken (if poorly defended). However poor defending for first Bayern goal and two stupid yellow cards for petulant fouls means they are out. They could never chase down the result with only 10 men, Bayern played it out very well, the one chance you expected never really came for Utd.

Looked like the gamble of playing Rooney had given them the heart early on, but when they actually needed him to play he clearly wasn't fit enough. Robbens goal was a worthy winner in the end, lovely goal.

I would recommend any fans of other teams who want to stick the boot consider that bar Arsenal they got the furthest in the comp of the english sides, and have only gone out after a fantastic 4-4 2 legged tie.

Hate to sound like a bandwagoner, but Michael Carrick is so damaging to our team.

That isnt an excuse, Bayern were the better team over 2 legs, and oh my flipping gosh some unbelievable tekkers from Arjen Robben. Rafael played amazing in the first half but ultimately cost us the match. Actually, Michael Carrick did for being a 12 year old girl in the 43rd min.

Darron Gibson and Nani can hold their head high after brilliant performances.

Barca were gonna win it anyway.

Hard to talk at the moment in the heat of the defeat. Obviously the sending off killed us. We were far better up to that point.

Bayern did well, Ribery and Robben were good.

One thing that comes to mind is I never want to see Carrick or Berbatov pull on a united jersey again. Sick of them at this moment in time.
