N95 ribbon damaged

Hi I have a black N95 with a damaged ribbon, I went to a phone shop to ask how much for repair, he said 50e all in, is that a good price? should I make note of serial number before I leave it in? Thanks

Its not a great price. If you bought the phone over 24 months ago ( meaning its now out of warranty) I would replace the ribbon yourself if you feel comfortable. Its not hard to do. You can buy a new one and delivered for probably €15 or less of the top of my head.
