Just after reading through the more recent posts about him in AH, and it seems that he may now have moved down the country and may be in Thurles.

Basically he has been ran out of a few places in Dublin since his release.

Would be no harm for people here to be aware of what he looks like and be aware of his past.




A very dangerous man with a track history of reoffending each time he is set free. Shortly after his previous release he raped four women and assualted two others in six days. He also has been arrested in the past for sexual assaults in the UK and for exposing himself to children.

Yep his crimes were deemed worthy of 189 years worth of sentences. But thanks to the wonderful system of allowing sentences to run in a concurrent manner four rapes and two sexual assaults in six days, six women whose lives were ruined in six days by an animal who had been just released from prison after being locked up for attacking other women, are only worth 12 years and a few months of actual jail time.

Also he ended up in Thurles living by a school despite having offences against young children on his record as well. Listening to the radio today it seems the locals only found out by accident and the school had not been alerted that the guy was in the area either.


To make the system even more laughable, Larry Murphy another serial rapist is being released in August, and yet again it is an early release, and like Murray there is a garda statement saying that he is very dangerous and likely to attack again.

how do you know that he has relocated to Thurles?

Originally it was someone in AH who said he was in Thurles and where in Thurles. Since then it has appeared on the radio, and the radio confirmed that there is a resident meeting to take place on the subject.


To be honest, I think that when a man who is a proven and convicted reoffender, especially one that Gardai say is very dangerous still and likely to reoofend, is anywhere in Ireland, then his face should be made known to the public.

I am sure that there will be some who say that he served his time and has a clean slate, but unfortunately this one has attacked again over and over despite getting put in prison a number of times.

I saw the post in AH by the poster who says that MM is living in the vicinity.

I am getting on to Thurles gardai about it now.

Maybe send the poster from Thurles a pm about it, and she/he may be able to fill you in on the resident meeting thing and if there are meetings with gardai set up etc.

They should run him all the way to Roslare.
