Hey all, I'm thinking of heading over to Australia in Oct just finishing my course at the moment. Just wondering what is the prospects out their for graduate QS's. Where is the best place to locate for work and what is the climate in the construction industry like over there currently.

ive worked for two practices the first on was for 6 months and the second one was for 4 months with a firm in the top ten contractors in Ireland who gave me a glowing reference. don't know if that will make any difference tho.

Theres a thread here every other week from a quantity surveyor thinking of moving to Australia. There must be some competition for the jobs at this stage.
