Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi.:D
Could anyone recommend a Coca-Cola League 2 to Blue Square North/South team to support? 'Cause neither of us know much about the team in the lower leagues, tbh.

Me and a mate were talking about this the other and thought we might as well pick a team from the lower leagues to support for the craic and maybe head over to a game or two a season.:)

Just a team with a decent fanbase, not an auld lad and his trusty dog.:P

/before any 'anti-barstoolers' get all self-righteous, me and my mate both support Rovers and will be making the effort to go to a lot of games over the summer.

Barnet, obviously in a great city, where better to spend the weekend, also not a bad little ground, went for an Arsenal friendly a few years ago, when they heard I was coming over from Dublin, they made sure I had the best seats in the house :)

Support Leeds United A.F.C., cos the way things are going, they ain't getting outta the lower leagues any time soon!!!:P

(Sincerest apologies in advance to all supporters and fans of Leeds United A.F.C.; one of my bestest friends is a Leeds fan, and I am well acquainted with their plight, but I still love a pisstake... meant in the best possible humour. DazMarz is also quite under the influence also too... Normally would never post something like this but sure what the hell... When in drunk, do as the drunks do!!!)

Why don't you spend that money when Shams get into Europe and go travelling then? You'll never forget that tbh, and I regret not going to ours last year. I knew I shouldn't have held out for the second round against Rapid Vienna.

Didn't realise you were a follower of Man U... Ok, so not Leeds then, obv!!!

Try Doncaster Rovers then. I like them for some reason. G'wan the Donny.

Get someone your parents trust to go with you.
Or failing that one of your fathers.

It'll be x10 going to some English game tbh.

Bury in League 2, close to Old Trafford so you could see them and United in the same weekend ;)

Was considering them because Mickey Thomas played for them and I like him.:P

I like to see them do well due to an auld lad who I met on holidays a few years ago who supported them for 60 years and was very pissed that he was missing a game.:P

    Ooo ah dey?:P

Waaayyy too much United hatred going on at that football club, they have a few too many anti-United songs.:(

    Go for Bradford City Baz!

Gets great attendances for league 2, ya can get flights from dub-leeds/bradford for 20 euro quite often.

I used to live in this area back when Clemence was in charge. They've had a bit of an up and down existence but given the recent developments, do not be surprised to see them heading for the championship in the next few years.

Unless you're specifically drawn to a certain team my advice would be to simply not bother. Life's too short!!

    Aldershot Town.

Me and a few mates picked them in FIFA 10! Also trying to get them up in FM2010 :D

Both themselves and Accrington Stanley have pretty decent support, Stanley Ultras are very active and look quality, Aldershot used to have the best Ultras in England imo but they disbanded, have a new group now, not sure if there up to much.

Do ya know of any other teams with decent ultras?

A good atmospheric support would be important.

York Citys Ultras are decent and active enough. Jorvik Ultras they're called.
