o2 silver upgrade vs. new customer?

    i am eligible for a silver upgrade (currently on advance 175, thinking of moving to advance 150).
    say i want a 3GS iphone now. on silver upgrade i think it costs €200 for the 16GB one.
    is it cheaper or the same price if i was getting one as a new customer on advance 150?
