Advice needed - buying second hand car

Need some advice.
Looking at getting a bigger car and currently caught in 2 minds - Skoda Octavia 1.9 Tdi or VW Passat 1.9 Tdi.

I have found a lovely clean 06 Octavia - UK Import, however the mileage is quite high at 95,000 miles.

Question is - would i be stupid to buy a 06 car with that much high mileage (it being a UK Import the majority would have to be motorway mileage) - should i keep looking around??

Any advice greatly appreciated.

The car is 4 years old, 95k miles isnt that far ver 20k per year, an average amount for a larger diesel. Id be more worried about the fact its an import and making sure it had FSH and wasnt clocked

What's the best way of ensuring the car wasnt clocked?? HPI check??
