Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I'm just looking for info on the best or most competitive insurance company for a motor trade policy.

I'm looking to get into buying and selling some vechicles aswell as some servicing, i worked in a garage for a few years until the recession hit an my employer had let us go:(

I'm trying to acess weather to set up as a sole trader or a ltd company, so any info on an insurance co would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Why don't you just ask some of your contacts from when you were in the trade. Their info will be a good bit more relevant than most on a car enthusiast forum.

Travelers and SIMIs own setup (I don't know the underwriter) are about the only ones I hear of.
Of course you have to join SIMI to get insured with them. They said they would be more rigorous with new members and more strict in general.....we'll see though. Also you'd need 2 referee's

    Please don't bump old threads.

    Especially not with waffle.

Start a new thread if you have a query and have a read of the Charter.
