R4i Card not working

I recently got an R4i gold card and downloaded the system files for it. However when I put the card into the console, it goes to the black LOADING screen and freezes. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can check whether its the R4i card or the files that I have the problem with? Thanks.

you either have the wrong drivers or the you put them on wrong if you can post a link to the card you bought ill try help
