Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

three years and 50k miles in to ownership of one and still love it. I have the DSG gearbox, make sure you test drive both the manual and the DSG and see which you prefer (the DSG is far superior IMO ;))

If you are going for a DSG look I don't think they came with the 'flappy paddle shifters' as standard in 2006 so it is a nice option.

If it is on 18" wheels, make sure they are orignal VW wheels, not spurious copies .. can be prone to buckling.

they do use quite a bit of oil, fairly normal.

I have had no problems what so ever with mine.

 if you are an ape of a driver who aims for potholes, those wheels are made by BBS and are tough wheels.

If badly kerbed the are impossible to refurb to original condition so people have been known to fit soft reps which look crap!
