    Hi
I bought some patio slabs for a patio, the area is 100m. but I can figure out how to lay them, there are 3 sizes.
Here are the sizes and quantity

    450x300 quantity 340
    900x600 quantity 50
    600x600 quantity 88

Any pattern I am finding needs the same number of each type of slab. Can anyone recommend a pattern?

    Thanks
    P.

doing the ratios you've been supplied the quantity for a "random" pattern

follow the roadstone link, you'll see "urbana random" on page 48 followed by other patterns

    http://www.roadstone.ie/uploads/documents/brochures/2009%20Roadstone%20Paving.pdf

i haven't fully worked it out if this'll do the job for you but it'll give you an idea

    edit...

    have a look at www.pavingexpert.com

    http://www.gardenseeker.com/patio_construction.htm

    and more layouts

by the way is this 1 large 100m area or is it broken up in to several areas? are you paving
paths or whats the plan? if you can explain it would help a lot

    Thanks for the response.
It could be nicely divided into 3 areas
Below is the shape of the patio, it could be split into a middle and two side sections, I may measure it up properly and see can I maybe add a border of the 450x300.

    Thanks
    P
PS I edited this post to give a drawing with measurements, it is not totally acurate, the top is actually at an angle, so the right hand side should be higher, but the measurements are correct

Went over my numbers again, i think i might need around 150-160 meters :-(

are these measurements "cast in stone" i.e. can they be reduced or enlarged so as to cut down on the amount of cutting that may be required?

They are set in stone, walls most of the way around
