Back in the day MRC had a 150 target for the magnum Hornet brigade.
    Perhaps zero @100 fire ' 50 100 150.
Calculate the bullet drop of your round and use that.
When i had a .22lr I used to use a 50yard zero, but that meant having hold over on most bunnies
So I changed to a 100 yard zero and aimed low on short range, easier than aiming over into mid air!

But I have limited experience with magnum .22
I could hit clays in the uncles bog with one @ '175 with a 100 yard zero if thats any help

Used to zero mine at 90-100yds. I found that the groups used to open after 100yds though. However was able to get sub inch to inch with a 4x scope;):D So I never knew how good it could have been after the ton marker due to the poor magnification:rolleyes: Have a 12x variable on the .223 and no comparison, wish I had more at times.

Have mine zero'd at 100yrds, how do you find the cci's. Was using Remington's myself but i'm going of them big time going to place an order for hornady's shortly. If they shoot as well as they do in a 223 i'm expecting big things. But ill be ultimitly changing to a 223 in the near future....

got 3 boxes, cci rem and hornady, its close between cci and hornady, i havent done a lot of shooting with each yet, so havent the exact groups. but they are much better than the rem

I've gone and approximated your scope to be an inch above the barrel, a 40gr bullet at 1875ft/s with a 4yrd zero

I think i was an inch hi (if even) though to be honest i cant remember. It wasn't enough to worry me. Its past a 100yrds where you really have to be spot on. ..

Heres a pic of mine at 120yrds ( which i would use as max distance for fox)
In windy enough conditions its an 8x8 inch target using 40gr remmy's.
Its not bad but im sure there could be better

I keep mine around about an inch high at 100 yards. Was using Win Super X fior years but now I'm looking for a new brand, maybe CCI TNT's, CCI have a lot of different offerings in .22WMR... :D
