Hello there, I am a first time buyer who has just found what could be the house for me. I am a bit lost on what I need to do to actually make a bid, get a mortgage etc. Could anyone give me some advice?

I like the house that I have looked at and think I have an idea of how much it is worth in my head. Should I make an offer and then go looking for a mortgage or do I need to go to the bank and ask for a mortgage first?

Are online mortgage brokers any good or am I better off in a real world mortgage brokers? Or better without one at all? Thanks for any help!
