    Hey! I Have a Problem:

I'm a teenage girl that has had periods of bad acne. Over the last 2 years, they have only been small patches;the t-zone (little ones on my chin, and forehead) I didnt really mind as they were'nt too bad and I knew it was from natural causes.

But, over the last 2-3 months, the spots have got bigger, and are now on my cheeks aswell as the sides of my face, forehead and chin. They arent lumps thank god but a very red and somtimes contain bacteria. Also, I have been getting very sore ones on my back.

Not much of my friends have spots, and even if they do, they are very discreate and all they do is dab a bit of cream or lotion on them and the spot it gone in a day!

I have tried so many creams & ointments : clean+clear , sudocream, tee tree oil , neutrogena, clearasil , aloe vera and since a couple of weeks ogo I have used a teen lotion called 'Clean Start' it has made my skin inflame and red, itchy , and sore. I am sick and tired of spending money on these products and they dont even work.

Please could someone recommend something to make it better.
    Thank You!:)

Go to a doctor or a skin specialist....

    Thanks!

    Hi,

did you type in bad acne in the boards.ie search engine or on google or some other site?

We've been getting a lot of posts on the boards.ie helpdesk that are not actually related to boards.ie issues. Posts that woul dbe better served in one of the categories or forums specifically set up for the discussion of those topics. for example, your post woul dhave been better suited to one of th emore health related forums in the science category.

We're just tryign to work out why posters are posting here so we can work out how to make the difference clearer and easier for new users like yourself.
