This is like the build up to GTA 4, leaked videos and live streams pondering the question ''will i watch it?!.. or just wait''.

Shame we aren't getting it on Tuesday like the Americans, we got MW2 on a Tuesday, but the majority are Friday.

IMO Friday makes more sense to release a game. You have all weekend to play it then!

somehow I've managed to avoid all the hype for this. So gonna keep it that way until I play the game, and then I'll read the reviews etc.. haven't even seen a trailer for it yet!

I pre-ordered this game on Amazon a good few weeks ago and kind of forgot about it as the release date hadn't even been set. Just been on youtube checking out some of the trailers and gameplay footage. All I can say is "WOW", this game is gonna rock. Having played through Episodes from Liberty City, has wetted my appetite for this one. Roll on whatever day it gets delivered in the post !

I was flicking through the channels last night and came across an ad for it. Only saw a few seconds of it mind so can't really comment.

Was gonna pick this up on friday but have read alot of so-so to bad player reviews so think I'll hold off for a while. GTA4 left a bad taste in my mouth so no rash purchase this time Rockstar lol.

They had ads playing on ITV during the FA Cup final. I was depressed thinking I had to wait another week to play it!

GTA IV left a rather peachey taste in my mouth, played it for hours on end and just recently replayed the whole game a few months back still think it's great. 2 thumbs up for my rash purchasing for this month.

I picked up GTA IV again after finishing it not long after it came out.

I had completely forgotten how f*cking awful the framerate is. I played about 5 minutes before i had to shut if off to go back to Just Cause 2.

GTA IV is not only one of the few games i own that Iv yet to complete but the only game Iv tried multiple times to get into and never made it past 50%. Horrid characters, dull game play and serious lack of fun compared to the other GTA games.

Have you tried the Liberty City stories? I also never really got into GTA4, but have recently heard that Rockstar went back to focusing on good fun with the DLC's, and was considering getting them.

Weird that eurogamer only gave it an 8. It's been getting high 9s and 10s from everywhere else.
Though reading through the article you'd think the score at the end was gonna be a 9, they didn't have too many complaints.
