anyone notice that car auctions are including an indemnity fee in their pricing which can be in excess of €100..they give no details of what indemnity is for...but if you ask them on the phone they say its to do with finance...yet it only costs 2o or 30 euro to do your own check...also many of the cars are being sold by the actual finance company...so you cant get safer than that!!!! In addition I think there is something in the law where someone selling in the trade has a responsibility to you in the first place to make sure a car is finance free...maybe I am missing something here:)...it seems like a rip off....anyone have any views???
