Best sounding cars in the world.

Just thinking we should have a thread dedicated to the best sounding cars you have heard. We have had plenty on best looking but for me the sound is just as important. even an absolute rust bucket seems instantly cooler if there is a V8 rumbling underneath.

However this is not a rust bucket and is imo the best sounding V8 out there. Nothing comes close. From 1.10 onwards...wow

The only rule I'm going to put in is that all the road cars must have a stock exhaust. No modifications.

He did 1800 RPM at best. The 928 in my link revved not much higher.

The beauty of the V8 is how a low RPM snarl is already impressive. Rev it up to 3k, 4k, 5k and behold the utter anger from that sound

As I said, I wasn't even talking racing engines here

I agree and I like the older sports cars sound, but these cars are still very expensive (when new). How about cheaper cars or "sound value for money"? I was driving one of these for over a decade every day and it would still be my favourite sound. However, the exhaust in these needs regular maintenance and replacement, as it gets highly stressed. The exhaust system must be in very good condition to sound properly...
