Would Waterford and Cork harbours be classified as rias?

Not sure if I'm remembering correctly, but if isostasy is involved in the production of ria, then these would have to be caused by the dalradian uplift?

I'm not sure Waterford fits the ria profile, the name coming from fijord - can you point to any characteristics (name names, I'm a native )

From research done my Colman Gallagher (can't remember which article, it's in Irish Geography in any case but you can check out his publications list of his staff profile in UCD), there's a submerged morraine off the coast of Waterford harbour, so it might be a submerged valley in that case. I can't remember if he referred to it as a ria.
