Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys

I'm just after buying an Onkyo TX-SR308. Do I need to get a HDMI 1.4 cable or will 1.3 cable work? I notice from reading on wikipedia that they appear to be different sizes. "The Type D connector is 2.8 mm × 6.4 mm, whereas the Type C connector is 2.42 mm × 10.42 mm"

A 1.3 cable will work, backward compatability is usually always supported in these situations.

Even though they are physically different sizes?

All the new TV's I have seen use the same sized HDMI socket and are 1.4.

Where did you see a "Larger" 1.4 hdmi cable?? The article sites "C" and "D" but they are "Mini" hdmi and are usually on HI-DEF camcorders, phones etc
